Summer Bedhead emerged on the music scene in 2021 and released her debut song, "Black Hole," in 2023, which quickly became a fan favorite. Her success continued when she was named one of Local 303's Featured Artists of the Month, with 102.3 radio playing tracks from her debut EP, "Visitor Parking Only," throughout November. Her debut album, "The Body Needs a Break," attracted over 2,000 monthly listeners within the first two weeks of its release. Since releasing the album, she has been featured in various media outlets, including Westword, Locals Only on channel 93.3, and Kinda Vague Radio.

Westword Artical
““Transform” boldly and meaningfully explores the interplay between noise and silence. In the song’s quiet moments, the singer delivers these great, jazzy vocal runs that remind us a little of Beth Gibbons from Portishead. In the loud moments, the band takes over and delivers a series of guitar-heavy sonic punches.”

Summer graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy with a fine arts award in songwriting in 2018. She then went to Los Angeles College of Music where she graduated with an associate's degree in songwriting in 2021. Summer has been singing for as long as she can remember and recalls writing her first songs at the age of 10 (they were really bad)

“(Roll with It is) A prime cut from their new album, The Body Needs a Break, the performances trend into a post-metal milieu at times, fast and furious, but never lose the wiry individuality within the arrangement” - Mark Buckley
